During a press conference at Trump Tower in Manhattan on Friday night, former president Donald Trump made an appearance to speak to his humiliated former lawyer, Michael Cohen, without mentioning his name.
Trump was charged with falsifying business data on 34 counts in deep-blue Manhattan the day before the press conference.

” Now, I’m not allowed to apply his title because of the gag order, but you know, he’s a slime case, everyone knows that. Took me a while to find out, but he was successful. He did work, but he was n’t a fixer. He was a solicitor”, Trump said, presumably talking about Cohen.
As part of Judge Juan Merchan’s broad joke attempt against Trump, he is prohibited from discussing witnesses, including Cohen and Stormy Daniels, regarding their involvement in the test. He reportedly faces possible jail time for future transgressions, but he did not specifically mention Cohen’s title during the press conference.

Trump added,” They like to use the phrase ‘ fixer,'” which has long been the major and establishment frame for Cohen in his ability as Trump’s past attorney.

” He was a prosecutor. At the time, he was a thoroughly accredited attorney. Trump continued, claiming that this caused Cohen to plead guilty to vote transgressions that he does not feel Cohen really committed. He also claimed that he got into trouble because he made exterior offers and had something to do with taxicabs and medallions.
” That’s why he went and therefore he pled to three election transgressions, and as soon as I saw that, I said,’ I wonder why he did that.’ He pled, he took a deal”, Trump added. He accepted a bargain because he desired to leave. In other words,’ I’ll consider a plea bargain, and I want to get off.’

According to the Department of Justice, Cohen pleaded guilty to five counts of willful tax avoidance in August 2018, one count of fabricating a bank statement, one count of causing a campaign contribution illegally, and one count of making an increased campaign commitment.
Trump claimed that the Southern District of New York “wrote the worst record I think I’ve ever seen on anyone” besides” the inspector general statement on previous FBI Director James Comey.”
Nevertheless, he stated Merchan refused to let his defence apply the southern state’s record on Cohen during the test.
” He said,’ It’s speculation.’ I said,’ It’s never hearsay.’ Would n’t let us use it, “he said.
