Senator J. D. Vance ( R- OH) said Friday on CNN’s” In Politics” that what happened in past President Donald Trump’s New York City enterprise document test was the “definition of fascism”.
Are you interested in being the going partner of a convicted murderer, asked guest host Wolf Blitzer?
Vance continued,” Well, does the entire objective of this trial be to let the press and the Democrats to say that as well. This is never about justice; rather, it is about plastering convicted felons all over the radio when Donald Trump is actually guilty of conspiring against himself in a social farce test.
Blitzer said,” So you do n’t think this was a fair trial at all”?
Vance said,” No, Wolf, I do not think it was a fair trial at all. And more importantly, afterwards, everybody’s focusing on Donald Trump rightly but the theory that we’re establishing applies across our elections. We basically say that you can try to throw your opponent in jail if you do n’t like the outcome of the election or do n’t like how an election is going to turn out.
Do you believe with Trump on what he just said because it seemed so offensive to me when he said we were living in a totalitarian condition? Is America a totalitarian state, exactly?
Vance said,” I am outraged at this whole proceeding not Trump’s condemnation of it”.
Blitzer said,” Trump is calling the United States of America, the greatest country in the world, a totalitarian state. Are you OK with that”?
Vance said,” I think this is terrible. I do n’t care what you call it”.
He added,” I think this proceeding, this legal proceeding is disgraceful”.
Vance concluded,” I think what happened in New York, if you apply to across all 50 says, would be the concept of authoritarianism. putting your political rivals in prison. Thanks to God, it merely occurred in New York and no elsewhere.
