On CNN’s” State of the Union,” Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA ) suggested that President Joe Biden should campaign in response to former president Trump’s guilty verdict in the New York business records case.

Schiff said,” I think for the leader, there’s a day and a place for each argument. I believe that the president can see the senator standing up for what he saw on the day of the faith and the day after that by showing his respect for the jury. However, I believe the president may continue to be interested in this.
He continued,” His company is a convicted murderer and you can just imagine if the situation was reversed, they may be going after Joe Biden with a vengeance. They’re making those false promises about Joe Biden, independently. So I believe that Democrats as well as the leader should be making the case loudly to the British people.
You do n’t want a convicted felon to use the Oval Office and the federal government in some sort of racketeering operation, Schiff continued,” You want the country run properly. That’s a strong argument, in my opinion, and one that’s truly supported by the decision here.
