Former US president Donald Trump’s guilty verdict in the New York business document trial was “validation of the American judicial system,” House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY ) claimed on NBC’s” Meet the Press” on Sunday.
Peter Alexander, the host number, said,” I want to start by asking you about this ancient conviction. President Obama made his remarks on Friday by saying it was irresponsible for anyone to claim that the verdict was rigged just because they do n’t like it. This is eight years old, and there are concerns about the authenticity of constitutional theory and the lack of empirical constitutional principle to defend it. Would anyone else get accused in this case besides former President Trump?
Jeffries said,” Yes, of course. The Supreme Court of Justice of America affirmed the circumstance of People v. Trump as a testament to the country’s judiciary. Donald Trump had a right to the ignorance premise. It was given to him. Donald Trump’s classmates gave him a judge seat. It was given to him. A strong defence was Donald Trump’s right. It was given to him. After five months of trial, twelve jury, 12 Americans, weighed the information, the law, and the facts before making a unanimous verdict in favor of Donald Trump’s conviction on 34 felonies.
He added,” That is an affirmation of the American judicial system. This is America. We are we are never a method occupied by a king, ruler or dictator., We are a republic, and in a republic, no one is above the law”.
