According to NYPD officers, a Venezuelan refugee who was driving a bicycle shot two police officers on Monday night.
FOX News reported the incident occurred “at the crossing of 89th Street and 23rd Avenue”, following an attempted visitors stop , around 1: 40 a. m.
The illegal jumped off his bicycle and fled, followed by shooting at the soldiers as they pursued him.
FOX 5 New York noted ,” the soldiers were working to solve a , assault structure in the area , involving scooters and scooters”.
According to NYPD Commissioner Edward Caban, the suspect allegedly drove the wrong way on “on , 82nd Street near 23rd Avenue” and caught the officers ‘ interest.
The illegitimate killed at the officers, who returned fire and injured him in the knee.
Both officers received treatment for their bullet wounds and were released from the hospital. One officer was shot in the foot while the other was shot in the leg with his bulletproof vest.
