A 34-year-old Palestinian is alleged to have thrown a fire weapon and attempted to set himself on fire at the Israeli ambassador in Romania and attempted to set himself ablaze. Counter-terror police have “immobilized” him.
A 34-year-old Arab immigrant was detained in Bucharest, Romania, on Monday after allegedly throwing an explosive device similar to a Molotov cocktail at the Israeli embassy in the capital. Italian newspaper Adevarul , reports the guy even tried to set himself arrive but was rapidly “immobilised” by counter- terrorism police.
No injuries have been reported, and the only injury is believed to have been a banner on the door, according to a statement from the Jewish embassy. They thanked” the Italian Police and the local security forces for their quick and effective response.”

Italian police quickly refuted any suggestion that the assault may have been an attempt at terrorism or that it had any whatsoever political motivation, despite the ongoing investigation. They claimed that” this incident is not related to the global context, but rather a personal disagreement between the man, especially the lack of a specific residence. This information will remain confirmed once the examinations that are being conducted have concluded.
Reuven Azar, the ambassador of Israel to Romania, appeared to disagree with this viewpoint significantly, calling the alleged culprit a “violent radical” and saying that “terrorism knows no borders.”
Azar continued:” I want you to rest assured that we are healthy, we are intact… neither us nor Romania did ever surrender to violence, we will continue working together for our citizens”.
