Former President Donald Trump’s preference standing somewhat increased, but remained , mathematically unchanged from March 2024, after Democrat Manhattan attorney Alvin Bragg safely convicted Trump last year, an ABC News surveys found Sunday.
The survey suggests that Americans have n’t changed their opinions of Trump following the conviction, which many legal experts believe was secured by novel legal theory. Trump said on Friday that he would appeal the decision. Sentencing is scheduled for mid- July before the Republican Party’s agreement.
The surveys sampled 781 people from May 31 to June 1 with a , 3.7 place margin of error. Trump’s test ended on May 30.
Thirty- one percent of Americans view Trump strongly, up from 29 percentage in March.
In comparison, Biden’s preference sunk one place from 33 percent to 32 percent.
Biden defended the judgment of his political rival on Friday, calling it “rigged” and saying it was “reckless” for his choked political rival to call it “rigged.”
