Former Biden medical adviser Anthony Fauci cited Fox News and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s (R-GA ) questioning on CNN’s” The Source” on Monday as the “kind of things” driving up death threats aimed at him.
CNN host Kaitlan Collins said,” You testified there at the conclusion about the challenges you and your family are nonetheless receiving.” ” And for those who do n’t know, that was your wife, Christine, who is esteemed in her own right, sitting behind you there. And I really wonder if you ever thought you would still be receiving those kinds of threats, reliable threats to your life, even then, two years after leaving federal assistance.
” You know, it’s really interesting”, Fauci replied. When someone gets up, whether it’s a media media person, or a member of the Congress who gets up and declares in front of the world that they are responsible for the deaths of X-number of people because of policies or some crazy notion that I created the virus, quickly, you may — it’s looking mechanical — the dying threats go way up. Therefore, I’m still receiving death threats when you give performances like Marjorie Taylor Greene’s unexpected performance at today’s hearing. Because there are some people in the population who think that kind of drivel, those are the kinds of things that raise the death threats.
