Four Jewish victims who had been held hostage by Israel on the side of the border of Israel during the winter months were confirmed dead on Monday when the Israeli army discovered their deaths.
Three of the victims had been forced to make an appearance in a Hamas advertising video earlier in the conflict, which is the last occasion their bodies were seen dead — haggard and bearded in the Islamic design by their friends or the Jewish people.

The Israel Defense Forces ( IDF) issued a statement:
Haim Perry, Yoram Metzger, Amiram Cooper, and Nadav Popplewell were brutally abducted from the Gaza Strip on October 7th, and their families have been informed that their bodies are being held by the Hamas terrorist organization today ( Monday ).
The Ministry of Health professional commission, in collaboration with the Ministry of Religious Services and the Chief Rabbi of Israel, determined that the four victims had been identified as dead and had been based on intelligence.
All the appropriate professionals are also looking into the circumstances surrounding their death in Hamas confinement.The IDF uses a variety of methods to compile information about the victims who are still present in the Gaza Strip.
The Army and the appropriate security forces will continue to follow the hostages ‘ families.
Back Admiral Daniel Hagari, a spokeswoman for the IDF, stated in a statement in English that it is possible that the four victims were killed in a fight that occurred during an Israeli activity against Hamas.
Perry was referred to as a peace advocate by Hagari as a “peace activist” who traveled from Gaza to Israel to get bored kids treated. He was also one of the founding members of Kibbutz Nir Oz, one of Israel’s hardest-hit cities, on October 7. His girl, Noam, has criticized calling for a stalemate while victims are still in prison.
In contrast, the Israeli government confirmed that a nurse named Dolev Yahud, 35, who had been thought kidnapped, was really killed on October 7. His bones were only recently discovered in Israel. Hagari pointed out that Yahud had abandoned his expectant wife and three children in their explosive house to save the lives of those who were being attacked.
