Biden signed an executive order on Tuesday that instantly refutes his false claim that he did not have the legal authority to reduce the record-setting number of illegal border crossings. His policies were welcomed four years prior.
According to The Associated Press, the executive order will temporarily stop asylum claims “once the typical number of daily encounters hits 2,500 between ports of entry, with the frontier reopening only when that number drops to 1,500.”
However, when , Univision anchor Enrique Acevedo pressed , Biden earlier this year about whether he could use his executive authority to close the southern border, he replied,” There is no guarantee that I have that power all by myself without legislation”.
Biden has reportedly allowed an unprecedented , 1.7 million  , known “gotaways” to enter the country since he took office, leading to more than 10 million foreigners illegally entering the United States under his therefore- called command. Since Biden’s inauguration in 2021, he has undermined borders safety more than 60 days, as The Federalist has documented. As Speaker Mike Johnson said, Biden “has manipulated the federal government to start our borders to illegal immigrants, human trafficking, morphine, and possible extremists”.
President Biden’s primary executive orders came on Tuesday, including halting the boundary wall development that began under former president Trump, lifting restrictions on immigration from nations replete with terrorism, and expanding the “illegal” Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals system, which invites cartels to traffic children into the United States.
It’s worth noting that Biden’s attempt to clear up his vehemently criticized immigration history does not help the issue. The border crossing of the border is still improperly done by thousands of migrants, up to 2,500 per day, according to the order. Before November, another roughly half a million refugees could enter the country without the federal government taking any action.
It should come as no surprise that Biden finally takes action just weeks before the 2024 election, after decades of stumbling by. His , acceptance rating , has dropped to 38.3 percentage, while Americans regularly cite emigration as the “most critical issue facing the U. S”.
The leader is also in the middle of a conversation with former president Donald Trump, the front-runner for the presidency in 2024 who blocked illegal immigration with” Remain in Mexico” policies, and is sure to blasted Biden for his disastrous handling of the border.
