NEW DELHI: Attended a concert featuring former president Donald Trump and many people were hospitalized as a result of the heat stress that the Phoenix Fire Department experienced while standing in line for the occasion at Dream City Church in northern Phoenix, according to The Hill citing ABC15.
For the first time this time, the Phoenix National Weather Service recorded conditions of 110 degrees Fahrenheit on Thursday, after matching the daily record high of 111 degrees set in 2016. Following an extremely hot summer last year, the location is expected to experience the initial heat wave of the season.
According to The Hill reports, some people were seen fainting and needing medical attention as a result of the extreme heatwave.
The event was sponsored by Turning Point Action, a conservative group for young people, to raise voter turnout by encouraging first and mail-in voting, a practice that Trump had earlier opposed. The past president has twice been to the Dream City Church, according to The Arizona Republic.
In June 2020, Trump held an enclosed event at the chapel, his second people gathering since the start of the COVID- 19 quarantine. According to The Republic, church officials incorrectly claimed that COVID-19 had been installed and that “99.9 %” of COVID-19 had been killed within ten minutes. At least eight of Trump’s plan staff members reportedly had good results following his 2020 event in Tulsa, Oklahoma, which took place weeks before the first Dream City Church march.
In Arizona, recent polls indicate that Trump leads President Biden by 3.3 percent items.
