Quetta: Pakistan’s jailed former prime minister Imran Khan has given a clean signal for discussions with the state and is “ready to accept” what has happened to him, his party’s president Gohar Khan said on Tuesday. ” We told the Pakistan Tehreek- e- Insaf ( PTI ) leader that dialogue is essential, as the length is widening. He agreed with us ( on this )”, Gohar told the media outside the Adiala jail in Rawalpindi.
According to Gohar, Khan, 71, wants the routes of speech to be opened. He stated to the media that Khan is “ready to accept what has happened to him for healing.”
Gohar was quoted as saying by Geo Television that” the PTI leader has stated numerous times that I am willing to accept what happened to me.”
Since his arrest ten months before for his role in numerous cases, some of which have led to convictions, the cricketer-turned-politician has been housed at the high-security Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi.
When asked if the discussions will take place at the behest of the Supreme Court’s tips, Gohar said:” The choice given by the apex prosecutor is also under account”.
Nevertheless, he emphasised that it is PTI’s “own selection” to communicate.
“PT I leader did not write any notice to the SC for dialogue. PTI will even respond to the bargaining solution.
Gohar stated that the group will start the conversations after speaking with Mahmood Khan Achakzai, the party’s chairman, at Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party.
He claimed that his party did confirm their agreement and that Achakzai and additional parties have a working relationship.
” Agreements can also be held at the empire level. PTI may also conduct itself”, said the group’s chief, reiterating that there is no choice but negotiation.
” We have not refused to negotiate. The snow is breaking. We want stuff to improve”, said Gohar, insisting that his party’s dialogue sell should not be interpreted as a package.
His statement comes days after Khan resisted taking a stand against his steadfast approach and instructed his party leaders to build connections both inside and outside the Parliament to avert the current political unrest, according to sources who spoke to Geo News.
According to the sources, the group’s authority was instructed to discuss issues with its lawmakers outside the Parliament and with members of the ruling coalition government.
Gohar informed journalists that the group’s leader had met with lawyers today and that speaking with his sons was forbidden.
Khan’s determination came after his conversation with Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa during his Supreme Court reading.
CJP Isa suggested that Khan appear before the Parliament to help with Pakistan’s problems during the hearing involving the National Accountability Bureau ( NAB) law amendments, “because the country needs to move forward.”
The former prime minister has given his group’s three- representative council the authority to establish email with the creation, said the options.
Khan had stated last week that discussions would only be held with those in the region with true power.
We’ll speak with the powerful. They ( parties in the government ) do not have power”, he said.
Khan claimed that during the Shah time, he did not even deal with ( Prime Minister ) Shaukat Aziz when a journalist pointed out that the Supreme Court had also asked him to discuss other political events. ” I only spoke to Musharraf’s representative”, he said.
Khan claimed that his party negotiated with different social events regarding the issue of votes at the demand of former Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial. He claimed that Bandial was under stress and unable to carry out the surveys on occasion and that the elections were scheduled to take place in 90 days.
