EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — An El Paso person has died after he was electrocuted in a spa on Tuesday, June 11, at a private beach in Puerto Peñasco, according to the General Prosecutor’s Office of Justice for the State of Sonora.
The General Prosecutor’s Office for the State of Sonora says Jorge, N., 43, and another man, Lizeth N., were in a tub only after 10 p. m. on Tuesday, June 11, at Sonoran Sea Resort in Puerto Peñasco.
The General Prosecutor’s Office says Jorge, N. was electrocuted and Lizeth N. suffered lifestyle- disturbing injury from a possible loss in the circuitry.
According to the General Prosecutor’s Office, Lizeth N. was taken to a nearby hospital where she was admitted for fires that matched those from electrical jolt.
Lizeth N. was then transported to the United States, where she is already in critical issue.
According to the General Prosecutor’s Office, a common witness claimed she had noticed the couple was not moving and was in the spa.
The witness claimed to agents at the picture that after the couple was unresponsive, she attempted to enter the spa. Yet, as she tried to enter the tub, she was shocked. The testimony therefore requested assistance.
La Fiscalía General de Justicia del Estado de Sonora ( FGJES ) is currently investigating the incident.
