    Congressional baseball: Politics, passion, patriotism

Wednesday’s Congressional Baseball Game for Charity brought its yearly show of interest and the pleasure of America’s game. For the fifth consecutive time, the Republicans defeated the Democrats in spectacular fashion. The last index was 31- 11. &nbsp,

A message from the Democratic area yelled” Free, Free Palestine” as the presenter called for the masses to reduce their caps for the national anthem just before the game started. This caused a USA song from the Republican side to rapidly spread throughout the entire stadium before the anthem even started. The environment became charged with nationalism, apparent to everyone present, whether they were excited about authorities, baseball, or both. &nbsp, &nbsp,

Soon after the song finished, weather protesters rushed the area and were met with a swift response, as security immediately tackled, arrested, and charged them with federal crimes for interfering with Capitol police. As the group sang” Goodbye” to the ball anthem, the protesters were quickly led out of the facility.

Despite the protesting crisis, the football match was entertaining. With every struck, the audience erupted in cheers or boos, depending on their affiliation, as if it were a playoffs complement. Unforgettable moments included Rep. Morgan Lutrell’s ( R- TX ) foundation- opening stand- up quad in the top of the third inning, which reignited USA chants, Rep. Jake Ellzey’s ( R- TX ) diving catch in the top of the third, and even the boos when next gentleman Doug Emhoff was shown on camera in the Democrat dugout.

Every year, the game highlights both the positive and negative aspects of elections. The phrase “one side shouting when the other celebrates its success” definitely seems to fit the current political landscape. No matter what language the particular “teams” may use against one another, they make it a point to play with one another. Other than the dreadful batting practice shooting for the sport in 2017, friendly competitors not caused any harm to anyone. &nbsp,

The match revolves around philosophy, but it also transcends it in many ways. People activity the T- shirts of different business holders, but there’s a sense of unification among everyone. By attending the event, all makes a donation to charity. By collectively circling Nationals Park and collecting free items from the show’s sponsors, the crowd actually shares this togetherness.

There is room for improvement in that human nature and in the mutual respect for a seriously American game. Remaining aware that our staff are also all people leaves room for improvement. A hitter is honor after hitting a twice, a hitter may be disappointed after missing a play, or speaker Mike Johnson you walk down the stairs to enjoy a baseball game like any other person. Every summer, The Congressional Baseball Game brings together D.C. politicians to demonstrate all of that.
