Zelenskiy has huge aspired to join NATO, but friends have resisted. Under its Post Five section, the Western Alliance views any assault launched on one of its 32 people as an assault on all.
Major U.S. and Ukrainian officials did satisfy within 24 hours to discuss a reply and determine what additional defense resources are needed for Ukraine, according to the agreement.
Under the deal, the United States restates its help for Ukraine’s defense of its sovereignty and territorial integrity, amid a renewed push by Russia on Ukraine’s southeast front.
Additionally, it lists plans to expand Ukraine’s government and establish its own security sector.

The future of the deal is still uncertain because Trump currently leads Biden in some election polls.

Biden recently changed his mind about allowing Kyiv to launch long-range U.S. rockets against Soviet goals close to the troubled Ukrainian city of Kharkiv.
At the news event, Biden made apparent he would never allow Ukraine to increase its use of U. S. weapons inside Russia.
” It makes a lot of sense for Ukraine to be able to defuse or fight the flow across that border. In terms of longer range arms… we have certainly changed our place on that”, Biden said.
