In Cartaret, New Jersey, an Indian-born gentleman opened fire on two Punjabi people on Roosevelt Avenue. One person died in the shooting outside a home on Wednesday night, and the other suffered serious injuries.
According to US internet shops, the criminal, identified as 19- yr- ancient Gaurav Gill, has been taken into custody by law enforcement authorities and faces charges of death.
The Consulate General of India addressed the victims as Jasvir Kaur and Gagandeep Kaur in a blog on X, which was formerly known as Twitter, and expressed anguish over the unfortunate occurrence.

After the event, the two girls were taken to hospital via aircraft, one of the patients, Jasvir passed away due to the severity of her scars.
Law enforcement officials have not yet made any announcements regarding the suspect’s probable motives or any connections between Gill and the victims.
The Consulate General of India in New York informed them that they are in contact with RWJ Barnabas Health &, Carteret PD to following up on the case because the investigation is ongoing.
