Prince Harry regrets not taking part in the 2024 Trooping the Colour occurrence, which honors the UK’s King/Queen, according to royal analyst Richard Fitzwilliams.
The annual military parade to honor King Charles II I’s birthday was snubbed by Harry and his wife Meghan Markle.
” I think when it comes to military things Harry has generally taken an interest”, said Fitzwilliams. ” I believe that he obviously views the manner in which the split has occurred with the Royal Family. Which, as I say in my opinion, is the problem of the Sussexes”.
Fitzwilliams said in response to Harry’s decision to abstain from the celebration:” We know they wanted an apology from the Royal Family for the way they were treated when they were senior working members of it. They certainly wo n’t get that. However, I believe there will be some dread.
He also highlighted that “military has been a very important piece” of Harry’s career, adding that the Duke of Sussex completed two tours in Afghanistan, one from 2007 to 2008 and then again from 2012 to 2013.
Fitzwilliams claimed that” I may have assumed it was only natural that he would have felt some regret” about not participating in Trooping the Color.
On Harry’s woman, Fitzwilliams said,” I think Meghan had been indifferent to a service like Trooping the Colour rather frankly”.
” I do n’t know whether she would or would n’t actually watch it, but I do n’t believe it would be very significant to her.” She would have been able to carve out a location within the Royal Family where she could had been useful, he continued.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s absence from the king’s day mock has sparked” problem” about the deeper holes in the royal family.
Last month, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had apparently said “no” to the proposal of King Charles’s birthday party.
But, the Prince’s representative refuted the claims and claimed there had never been an offer from the other party.
