In a , shooting at a June 15th event Saturday nights in Round Rock, Texas, two innocent spectators were killed and at least six others were hurt, according to authorities.
Cops already at the picture responded to gunshots around 11 p. m. at the , event at Old Settlers Park, about 15 miles northeast of downtown Austin.
An explanation had erupted between two parties, and at least one person , pulled a gun and started shooting, authorities said.
In addition to the two persons killed, four people and two children were wounded and transported to local hospitals, according to officials. All their , wounds were described as “potentially significant” , , by the Austin- Travis County EMS.
According to Round Rock Police Chief Allen Banks,” It breaks your heart for a family who was coming out to enjoy their night and then their life is always changed as a result of someone who could care less about someone else’s living.”
Although the victims have not been identified formally, police have stated that both the victims and their deaths were unintended victims.
No defendants have been arrested , or identified, officials said.
Old Settlers Park has hosted a , Juneteenth party, complete with a musical, for 18 years, according to the area. Rapper Paul Wall was one of the players at the Saturday night group.
” Round Rock, we are  , praying for everybody“, the singer tweeted Saturday evening.
” It is unfortunate that we were here celebrating a wonderful event and we have a tragedy” , , Banks said , in a statement. ” My thoughts and prayers go out to the victims,” said one victim. My thoughts are with the families of the deceased.
