I’ve been reminding VodkaPundit readers for almost three years that the so-called Inflation Reduction Act ( IRA ) from President President Joe Biden was actually just the Green New Deal Lite in drag. Because this White House has been one countless bring show after another, it seemed like the messages were needed. But what if I told you that there’s a costs headed towards the alleged government’s office that really does help the environment?

What if I told you that Biden will almost certainly sign it and that Your Friendly Neighborhood VodkaPundit may also give him a standing ovation for it?
I’ll be all over it if you need a minute or two to regroup. I’ll give you a time of protection.
…and the time is through. Let’s get to the oddly positive reports of today, when Democrats and Republicans joined forces to achieve great things for the culture and our energy security.
The IRA was a twice- fool. By causing more debt and enforcing innovation-scratching regulations, it definitely worsened inflation. And the “environmental” privileges amount to little more than multibillion- money slush funds for several left interests. Plant more trees instead of cutting them down to make room for taxpayer-subsidized solar farms that produce less energy, less effectively, for more money than the outdated electricity flowers they replaced. Moreover, trees are fairly.
Do n’t even get me started on the waste that wind energy produces from all those millions of enormous, non-biodegradable windmill blades, from the emissions produced by solar panel production, or from the strip-mining required to produce batteries for electric cars.

However, the ADVANCE Act is passed to Biden’s table to be signed into law regards to a nearly majority Senate vote on Tuesday night (88- 2 ), which I’ll return to later. According to Reuters, the costs will speed up” the implementation of nuclear power power, including by accelerating permitting and creating new opportunities for advanced nuclear reactor technology.”

” Democrats view expanding nuclear energy as essential to decarbonizing the energy industry to combat climate change, and Republicans view it as a way to assure reliable electricity supply,” according to bipartisan support.
We can debate whether it’s” critical” to decarbonize the power sector ( it is n’t at all critical ) but Republicans are on the money about nuclear’s reliability. With the reduced regulatory burdens brought on by the ADVANCE Act, it should also be less expensive. And I’ll offer exceptional credit below to Congressional Democrats, also, who for when did the wise thing on energy policy.
John Starkey, director of public coverage at the pro- nuclear American Nuclear Society called the act “monumental“. He continued,” This has been a long time coming,” and that the Nuclear Regulatory Commission has been transformed into a” 21st Century regulator” by the ADVANCE Act.

While there were eight absences or abstentions, just two senators — Bernie Sanders ( I- Vt. ) and Ed Markey ( D- Mass. ) — voted Nay. When one of those commie windbags boasts about their environmental friendliness, keep that in mind the next time.  ,
Often in Washington, “bipartisan” is script for “both sides agreed to lock the British tax”. The ADVANCE Act is the exception.  ,
