House Republican sent requests to 15 federal agencies for all documents turned over to Jan 6 committee

Calls for all files that were recently submitted to the Jan. 6 Select Committee have been sent to 15 governmental agencies, according to House Administration Committee Chairman Barry Loudermilk, R-Ga. Following the failure of the Democrat-led council to turn over a majority of those files to the fresh Republican lot after the 2022 election, this action is taken.

According to Just The News, Loudermilk’s committee has been looking into the research and final record of the Democrat-run Jan. 6 commission as well as the answer to the Jan. 6 Capitol strike by various federal agencies and the Capitol Police. &nbsp,

During its analysis,” The Select Committee obtained numerous information from national authorities and the DC state under the chairman’s leadership, head Bennie Thompson, and vice chair Liz Cheney.” Just a small portion of these files, however, were appropriately archived and given to House Republicans in January 2023. Thus, Congressman Loudermilk has no choice but to re-do the Select Committee’s work, according to a statement from the committee announcing the characters to the national authorities.

The committee’s past recovery of over 100 files, which were removed by the Democrat select committee just before the GOP gained a majority in the House in 2023, follows the committee’s prior recovery of those files. After the committee realized a gigabyte of information was missing from the Jan. 6 Select Committee, according to Just the News, a digital forensics team was hired by Loudermilk to retrieve the records.

Additionally, Loudermilk informed Only the News last year that key Jan. 6 witnesses ‘ taped conversations were missing. Bennie Thompson, D- Miss., who led the Jan. 6 Select Committee, replied that he did not believe he was required to preserve them.

According to the media launch,” Honorary Loudermilk is working to determine specifically how many files were not properly archived by requesting these files directly from federal and DC firms, which should still have records of what was provided to the Select Committee,” in order to conduct a thorough investigation and release the full facts so that the American people can draw their own conclusions about what happened on January 6, 2021.

This development highlights the ongoing partisan rift in the Capitol attack investigation, with Republicans aiming to re-examine the findings and conduct a thorough analysis of the events and responses from the federal agencies involved.
