RIYADH: According to an AFP tally released on Thursday, more than 1, 000 people died from the worship this year, with unlicensed pilgrims accounting for more than half of the victims amid the scorching heat.
The new deaths reported Thursday included 58 from Egypt, according to an Egyptian diplomat who provided a collapse showing that of 658 full dying from that nation, 630 were unregulated.
