The FBI detained one of the apartments belonging to Oakland Mayor Sheng Thao on Thursday night, along with other at least four other homes in Oakland.
Andy Duong, a part of the Cal Waste Solutions family, was able to identify one more home as having owned it. The campaign contributions to Thao and various elected city officials have been the subject of an investigation by Cal Waste Solutions. That was up in 2020.

On Maiden Lane, the FBI is engaging in court-approved law enforcement action. The FBI stated in a speech that they are unable to provide more details at this time.
The Oakland registrar’s office announced on Wednesday that there were enough signatures to place the petition to have Thao removed from the November ballot as if Thao was n’t worried about it.
Oakland United to Recall Sheng Thao ( OUST ), the campaign spearheading the recall effort, submitted 40, 000 signatures before the July 22 deadline.
OUST supporters claim that Thao should be fired because of the great crime rate, the officers chief’s fire, and the team’s lost, the Oakland Athletics.  ,
Retired Alameda County Superior Court Judge Brenda Harbin-Forte, OUST President, stated,” This historic achievements marks the initial understand in Oakland’s story, with Oakland citizens signing with a sense of urgency and purpose recalling this rude and ignorant governor.” ” Thao’s activities have pushed Oakland to the precipice, but the area is saying,’ Little MORE. We want Thao gone.'”
Because people did n’t show up for the games, the A’s are moving to Las Vegas. Even when the team was good, they could n’t fill Oakland Coliseum. Because of its lack of political nature and terrible living conditions, Oakland lost the A’s. The effort to keep the A’s in Oakland was unimpressive and pitiful.  ,

In fact, the A’s could n’t wait to get out of Oakland. They will play in Sacramento in 2025 because their new home in Las Vegas wo n’t be ready until 2026.
The FBI’s research appears to have had fruit, in my opinion.
On Thursday morning, an FBI representative donned mild blue surgical gloves and entered Thao’s house on Maiden Lane. He instructed journalists to avoid three black and gray Cars that the FBI agents had parked on the street outside her house. The agent refused to respond to inquiries from reporters regarding the raid’s cause, what they discovered, and how many agents were in.
More than a few brokers departed the house at around 10 a.m. with big, black plastic tubs, notepads, and report containers. They left in four Cars. When investigators knocked on the front entrance and rang the doorbell, the governor was nowhere to be seen and no one arrived.
On Thursday night, rules police in their FBI coats searched another property located at 4320 View Crest Court in the Oakland rocks. Two were rummaging through the garage’s bag and rebuffed to speak with a writer. Around 9 a.m., officials began searching parked cars outside the home.

Oakland residents are angry and frustrated. Their police force has been severely reduced, and the conflict has only grown worse as a result of a lack of confidence between the police and the citizens. Violence allegedly decreased last month, but the majority of Oakland residents attribute this to victims not reporting crimes.  ,
