    Man lynched by mob for alleged desecration of Quran in Pakistan, police station set ablaze

    In west Pakistan’s Madyan Tehsil of Swat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, an armed crowd allegedly desecrated the Holy Quran, leading to eight accidents and the death of the local police station, according to police reports. The gentleman, Mohammad Ismail from Sialkot city, was reportedly caught burning pages of the Holy Quran. A furious crowd of angry people demanded his discharge after the police took him into prison, and they used violence to protest their demands.
    As the crowd set the police station on blaze, the circumstance escalated even more. Some people managed to enter the place, shot the think, dragged his brain to Madyan Adda, and hanged it, PTI reported. ” In the unrest triggered by the incident, eight people were hurt. ” Heavy police deployment has been made in Madyan and efforts are being made to control the situation,” said Zahidullah, a district police officer ( DPO ) Swat.
    Zahidullah, said that the presume had been taken to the Madyan police station for shelter, AP reported.
    Chief secretary of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, has requested a report from the municipal police captain on the destruction event. He directed the police inspector common to take immediate action to stabilize the region. The deputy minister urged the populace to “main in harmony and quiet.”
    Additional details were provided by local authorities national Rahim Ullah, who said the incident started when Madyan residents accused Ismail, a tourist, of heresy while he was staying at a nearby hotel. The man was taken to the place for his safety, but the crowd grew and pursued them. The crowd then attacked the place, grabbed Ismail, beat him to death, burned his figure, and drove off, according to Ullah, according to AP.
    To regain order, more police forces have been dispatched to Madyan. If any of the adversaries have been apprehended, it is still undetermined.
    The most recent murder in Swat is a continuation of last month’s violent event in Pakistan’s eastern Punjab state. A crowd assaulted a 72- yr- ancient Christian man, Nazir Masih, after charging him with desecrating webpages of the Quran.
