The Houthis in Yemen claimed to have launched a joint military activity targeting four boats in Israel’s north Haifa port in cooperation with the Islamic Resistance in Iraq militant group. This strike, which took place on Saturday, aimed at two concrete tankers and two cargo ships, was executed using robots, Reuters reported.
Yahya Saree, a spokesman for the Houthi army, gave more details about the procedure in a televised declaration early on Sunday. According to Saree, the boats belonged to businesses that “violated the ban on entering the ships of held Palestine.”
This incident has not received any comments from the Israeli government. Formerly, they had denied a comparable say by the Houthis earlier this month.
Saree added that the party used drones to attack the Shorthorn Express in the Mediterranean. As a show of support for Palestinians who were battling the Gaza issue, the Houthis are currently attempting to halt delivery in important waterways.
These problems have not received any independent assurance.
Since November, the Iran-aligned Houthis have been conducting drone and missile attacks on shipping lanes. These problems have resulted in the falling of two vessels, the arrest of another, and the deaths of at least three seamen.
