A representative from the North Las Vegas Police Department disclosed in a video presentation released on Thursday evening that 92 police officers shot a Las Vegas man who was killed in a four-car fall.

Officer Brian Thomas said officers shot and killed the gentleman, identified by the Clark County coroner’s office as Las Vegas resident&nbsp, Julian McCoy, 57, &nbsp, on Saturday while&nbsp, responding to a crash&nbsp, at the crossroads of Craig Road and North Fifth Street.

According to Thomas in the film briefing, witnesses called the police after McCoy struck cars on Craig Road and north on Fifth Street at a stoplight, which were also captured by local security cameras.

In a number of 911 calls made by the ministry, testimony claimed McCoy threatened a car-tower user.

One caller said,” One of the people that came up to his car and checked if he was okay, he pointed a gun at them.”

In another call, a man tells police dispatch,” The guy who caused the accident apparently has a gun on him, so we do n’t want to approach him”.

Officers made an effort to de-escalate the condition by requesting McCoy to drop the gun and leave his car, according to Thomas, who claimed he had started threatening officers once they arrived on the scene.

McCoy next “raised the weapons” toward police, and seven soldiers shot a combined 92 days at McCoy, striking him many times.

McCoy was declared dead at the scene by medical staff.

The soldiers who shot at McCoy included Soldiers Darren Rigsby, Alexandre Chevalier, Logan Guerin, Christopher Dellorco, Timothy Barns, Rodrigo Garcia and Robert Ryan, who have all been placed on paid administrative left, Thomas said.

Garcia fired the most pictures during the event, with 26, followed by Ryan with 17 pictures, Dellorco with 15, Barns with 11, Chevalier with 7 and Rigsby with 3, according to authorities.

An off-screen official instructs McCoy to exit his vehicle with his hands up in one body-worn camera-worn picture. Just before several officers start shooting into the car, the officer is heard saying,” You do not want to push this.”

McCoy’s hands can be seen holding a gun, after identified as Browning BL- 22.22 caliber much rifle, inside the car in the video, which is accessible through the car’s available front passenger window.

In another video, many police can become heard yelling “drop the weapons” at McCoy before striking the car.

The off-screen agent asks McCoy to get out of the vehicle with his hands raised after shots are fired. McCoy can be heard yelling “drop it” from officials. A few soldiers are seen approaching the car about a minute later.

Thomas said officers after found 15 shots inside the vehicle, along with alcohol and drug equipment. McCoy’s initial toxicology screen tested positive for cocaine, alcohol, morphine and methamphetamine.

McCoy even had a criminal history dating back to 1987, and had been charged with conspiracy to commit initial- degree murder, home battery, strangulation, kidnapping, and numerous counts of theft, among various charges, Thomas said. Due to a previous robbery conviction, he was also on felony parole in Nevada.

Thomas urged anyone with information to call the North Las Vegas authorities at 702-633- 9111.
