
An SUV vehicle crashed into a ship vehicle, causing an explosion that filled the sky with columns of black dust, according to , Texas  , government and media reviews.
The accident happened around  , 10: 50 a. m. Sunday, June 23, on , U. S. Highway 290 East , in , Lee County , near , Ledbetter, about a 65- km drive south from , Austin, KPRC reported.
Authorities said a truck , carrying crude oil barrels , was struck by an SUV that had a female driver and female passenger, leading to the blazing scene, according to KBTX.
Moving cars, including , Brock Lacy, shared pictures of the extraordinary fallout.
” Hottest temp I’ve always felt”, Lacy said in a Facebook post. ” Was anxious about melting rubber”.
David Els, who also perished in the accident, claimed he originally believed the local shrubs were the source of the fire. When he got closer, he , saw the light SUV engulfed in flames , next to the jeep.
You may also feel the heat through the glasses and the windows, Els told KXAN after going through everything and rolled up all the windows.
Two persons were critically injured and taken to an , Austin , doctor, according to Lee County EMS officials, who said at least eight different agencies responded to the field.
When this significant incident occurred, everyone immediately came up,” Lee County EMS stated in a Twitter post.
