Democrats are working overtime to stop Robert F. Kennedy Jr., an independent candidate, from appearing on the ballot in 2024 because he fears his battle does hurt Joe Biden’s chances of winning.
Democrats ‘ efforts to deny Kennedy’s ballot access in key battleground state, according to CNN’s left-wing media report on Saturday. According to the report, the Democratic National Committee ( DNC ) and Clear Choice PAC, a pro- Biden super PAC “focused on countering third party candidates”, have filed legal bids contesting Kennedy’s ballot access in “four states in the last month”. These include battleground states such as North Carolina and Nevada, as well as” Democratic strongholds”.
” Each of the papers claims Kennedy violated condition rules that stipulate how impartial candidates , assemble the documents needed to qualify for a country’s vote”, the report reads. Democrats claim that Kennedy’s plan “misled voters” by creating a “minor group” to facilitate ballot qualification and made procedural mistakes in its petitions across five states.
According to The New York Times, Kennedy has actually gained ballot access in seven state, including Michigan. Although recognized accreditation is pending, the separate candidate’s campaign claims that it has collected enough names to appear on the ballot in 13 more claims. Among those claims are North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Nevada.
CNN acknowledges that the DNC’s difficulties are a “broader plan” used by Democrats to” stoke the election’s fate by stifling the help of voters who favored Biden in 2020 but perhaps consider Kennedy in November.” In October, The Times published an article about Biden and Democrats ‘ anti-democratic campaign against Kennedy and another third-party individuals.
The strategy was used by Democrats to oust former president Donald Trump from the votes in 2024. Communist officials in Colorado and Maine used an absurd legal theory to formally remove Trump from their state ‘ primary vote over the past year. In March, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled unanimously against the autocratic work.
Rinse and Repeat
Despite their admonition that “democracy” is possible, Democrats have n’t used covert tactics to stop left-leaning third party candidates from casting ballots in the past.
During the 2022 midterms, for instance, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee— which at the moment was represented by , Russia collaboration scammer Marc Elias ‘ law firm — went to intensive efforts to prevent the Green Party from appearing on North Carolina’s fall ballot. The Green Party submitted” thousands” of names to the state board of elections in order for its member to have access to the poll.
As Victoria Marshall , wrote , in these sites, Matthew Hoh, the Green Party member, “received text information from the DSCC asking him to reduce his name from the complaint and saying’ the Green Party takes votes apart from Democrats, which helps Republicans win. ‘”  , After North Carolina’s Democrat- manipulated elections board “voted not to confirm the Green Party”, a federal judge overturned the determination, allowing Hoh to look on the 2022 vote.
In the 2020 election, Democrat-aligned parties managed to keep the Green Party from winning in important states like Wisconsin and Pennsylvania using these methods.
As noted by Federalist Editor- in- Chief Mollie Hemingway in her best guide, Manipulated: How the Media, Big Tech, and the Democrats Seized Our Elections, the Green Party’s nominee, Howie Hawkins, was denied ballot access in Wisconsin by the state elections commission on a technicality, despite the party “filing almost double the number of signatures required to appear on the ballot”. The Wisconsin Supreme Court” came up with a new standard that would get them the result they wanted” rather than “determining whether the election commission had violated the law.”
” According to the court, it was simply too close to the election to reprint ballots”, Hemingway wrote. Because the court deemed upholding the party’s rights to be inconvenient, the Green Party was kept off the ballot.
During the 2020 contest, Biden won Wisconsin and Pennsylvania by 20, 682 and 81, 660 votes, respectively.
