NEW DELHI: A poor man discovered a budget with 2, 000 dollars on a coach at Amsterdam place. Despite his position, he decided to turn it to the police.
Hadjer Al- Ali, who has been without a house for a month and a half, discovered the bag while searching for clear plastic containers at Amsterdam Central Station to exchange for cash. The 33-year-old handed the finances to the authorities, which was reportedly worth a lot of money, but the owner was sadly unidentified or unable to provide any contact information.
Police commended Al- Ali’s dignity, stating,” Because we think that honesty if give, he got a ‘ gold thumb ‘ prize that we sometimes give to citizens and a gift voucher worth 50 euros”. The tracker will receive the money if it goes unclaimed after a month.
In a movie shared by local internet store De Stentor, Al- Ali expressed his unwavering commitment to returning lost goods, saying,” No matter what I find, I often give it back”. He added that he hoped that his kind deed may result in positive changes in his life, such as finding employment or purchasing accommodation.
