Former President Donald Trump has said he has made a decision regarding the choice of his vice presidential nominee, but has n’t yet disclosed that decision to the Republican candidates.
According to an NBC News reporter present at the event, Trump said during a halt on Saturday at a cheesesteak diner in Philadelphia that his running mate may be present for the upcoming presidential debate in Atlanta.
While his confrontation with President Joe Biden has no visitors, many of the best vice presidential candidates, including the governor of North Dakota, do so. Doug Burgum, Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida, and Sen. JD Vance of Ohio — are expected to attend a view party hosted by Trump’s plan.
The Republican nominee for president has recently stated that he would make the announcement at or shortly before the Republican National Convention, which will take place in Milwaukee on July 15.
Trump may choose to announce the news sooner, which may help him stand out from the media’s protection of his sentencing on July 11 for misdemeanor counts in a New York hush money case.
After Trump’s operating partner is chosen, the plan has increased its preparation. According to a person who requested privacy to discuss the work, it has rented a private jet for the vice presidential candidate between July and November.
The former president will have to make a significant decision as he seeks to increase his electoral coalition in light of elections that reveal voters were dissatisfied with both candidates. Trump was present at a rally in Philadelphia, which has long been a Democrat hotspot, on Saturday.
