The FBI is looking for info on a South Texas mother and daughter who went missing in Nuevo León, a frontier position in northern Mexico.
Jessica Garcia Rojo, 17, and her family, Juana Marcela Rojo, 55, were last heard from on May 15 when they crossed from Laredo, Texas, into Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, around 9 p. m. Their last recognized spot was near Monterrey, Mexico, in the state of Nuevo León, FBI authorities said.
When they vanished, they were driving a white Dodge Caravan with New Mexico registration plates 609 XBC.
Jessica has brown hair and brown eyes and is 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs 158 weight. Juana is 5 feet, 1 inch taller, weighs 210 lbs and has brown hair and brown eyes. Jessica has ties in the region and is fluent, speaking both English and Spanish. Juana speaks generally Spanish, the FBI says.
