Gov. In his State of the State address to Californians, Gavin Newsom (D-CA ) claimed that former President Donald Trump’s Republican Party is reminiscent of Nazi Germany’s murderous regime.  ,
Frequently regarded as one of the Democratic Party’s rising actors, Newsom weighed the connection between Trump’s GOP and Hitler’s totalitarian gathering during a statement Tuesday.  ,
” When they speak of refugees poisoning British blood, and of large persecution and confinement camps, this is the language of loss, of 1939, when Governor Olson issued his warning”, Newsom said.  ,
Trump made some controversial remarks at a rally in Iowa last year, and the first half of his speech made reference to those remarks. Another California government was mentioned in the latter section of the article who, in 1939, warned his nation about the dangers posed by politics as Hitler marched across Europe.  ,
” They’re destroying the heart of our state”, Trump said in December 2023.
The former leader addressed masses of roaring Iowans the week before Christmas by talking about illegal immigrants and stating who he was speaking to. ” They’re coming from all over the world … We have no idea — they could be good, they could be very bad. They may provide in disorder that’s going to get on in our country”.
The previous president added it was a top priority to find “mass figures” of them out, “especially the crooks”.
Despite the fact that there was no clear proof of this, Trump expressed worry about other countries loading citizens they deemed unwanted into the United States.
” They’re coming from prison,  , prison.  , They’re coming from intellectual organizations … they’re emptying out the stupid jails from all over the world … Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Mexico. They’re emptying out their prison into our state”, Trump warned during his march.  ,
Trump’s words about “poisoning the heart” of the nation were criticized at the time.
” They do n’t like it when I said that”, Trump said, noting he had never read Mein Kampf, Hitler’s manifesto.
Trump defended his comments, saying he meant them “in a little different approach” than the Nazi leader.
Newsom argued Trump’s notes are, in fact, identical to Hitler’s perception that Jews and various demographics polluted real Aryan bloodstream. In overall, 6 million Jews were murdered by the Nazi regime.

Newsom’s statement on Tuesday brought back memories of the former Democratic governor in California. Culbert Olson, who issued a somber alert as the United States watched many of Europe fall under either Hitler’s fascist spell or appease him. Olson, who was elected as California’s governor on the eve of WWII, used his inaugural address to warn of the “destruction of democracy elsewhere in the world, accompanied by denial of civil liberties and inhuman persecutions, under the rule of despots and dictators, so extreme as to shock the moral sense of mankind” . ,
The “antidote” to the fresh fascism,” the poisonous conservatism of the correct”, Newsom statements, is Democrats ‘ liberal ideals.  ,
