President Joe Biden appears to pause as he responds to a problem before CNN facilitator Jake Tapper directs the discussion, according to a viral video from the debate on Thursday night.
Dana Bash, a moderator for CNN, posed a question about the British economy, especially regarding the national debt and taxes, in the opening political debate between Biden and former president Donald Trump in 2024.
After Trump provided an answer, Tapper gave Biden an opportunity to listen. During Biden’s reply, the leader had many interruptions, culminating in him appearing to drop his train of thought.

In response to the popular videos, many commentators and lawmakers expressed concerns regarding the mayor’s performance at Thursday’s discussion.
” Biden looks aged. Halting. He only lost his train of thought. His message is poor. Poor bad bad”, former CNN critic Chris Cilizza tweeted.
Conservative commentator Clay Travis even released a statement on X, previously Online, saying,” Joe Biden looks like he might perish on stage now. He’s far worse than I anticipated he may remain. Holy crap”.
Daily Wire number Ben Shapiro tweeted,” Consider, Joe Biden set the rules for this discussion. He therefore spent a whole year preparing. And he looks like this”.
