In the opening conversation of 2024, previous president Donald Trump‘s humorous personality was overshadowed by President Joe Biden, but not in the desired way.
Biden stumbled right out of the gate with a loud tone and a series of halting answers, finally ending one medical- related change by saying,” Appearance, if … we finally beat Medicare”.
Biden:” Making certain we make every one single person ready for what I’ve been allowed to do with, pardon me, with, uh, dealing with everything we had to deal with.” Look, we suddenly beat health”.
Trump:” Also he’s correctly. He did hit medicare. Hit it to death”. photograph. twitter.com/FL152ERLiR

While Biden later recovered from the COVID-2019 pandemic by attempting to rattle Trump on the Jan. 6 Capitol rebellion and his employment history, a lot of the discussion came when the discussion ended, never about who won but whether Biden will also support the Democratic nominee in November.
Alex Conant, who served as communications director for Sen. Marco Rubio’s ( R- FL ) 2016 campaign, gave Biden the lowest possible grade for his conversation performance.
” Biden got an F”, Conant, a founding partner of Firehouse Strategies, said. ” He was unable to clear the simple table.” Progressives will really consider replacing him.
Conant had a good opinion of Trump after the conversation, though not necessarily because of his impressive stage presence.
” Trump gets an A -“, he said. ” He largely let Trump self- implode”.
Some politicians started asking questions incessantly about why Biden was allowed onto the step by those who were close to him as the discussion progressed and he continued to fall.
” Joe Biden’s top advisors and his family have a lot of explaining to do to their group and this society”, Scott Jennings, a longtime assistant to Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell ( R- KY), posted on X. Jennings, who provided research on the argument for CNN in Atlanta, said he was in horror after watching Biden’s efficiency.
” You ca n’t grade it”, he told the Washington Examiner. ” The image of him out there was beyond grading”.
Jennings aside, there was lengthy, open discussion on CNN, which hosted the debate, and on other cable news networks about Biden’s struggles and just how bad they were for his reelection campaign.
According to University of New Hampshire professor James Farrell, “working people on the east coast must go to bed because they have to work in the morning,” so they ca n’t watch more of the brutal postmortem on ALL the networks.
” Biden’s performance was dismal and, in political terms, a signal to the party to invoke the DNR ( do not resuscitate )”, Farrell added. ” I do n’t think he comes back from this”.
Some Democratic sources began making claims that Biden had a cold after the debate had already begun, which could have contributed to the cold but not his frequent stumbling through his moderators ‘ questions.
Trump responded,” I really do n’t know what he said at the end of that sentence,” after Biden struggled through an answer about adding more southern Border Patrol and asylum officers. I do n’t think he knows what he said either”.

Democrats watching the debate watched Trump, but he only received low marks for his repeated irrationality in his responses to Biden’s statements.
” It was boring”, south Florida- based Democratic strategist Sasha Tirador said. ” Neither guy moved the needle. We had a very incoherent former president Trump and a very low-energy president Biden.
For failing to make any changes during the night, Tirador gave both candidates an” F.” However, she rejected the notion that Biden should be replaced.
” Inside baseball players are expressing concern, and this is nothing new”, she said. They have been complaining ever since Biden made it known that he would run again.
Democratic strategist Brad Bannon concured.
” I think there will be much talk about replacing him, and I do n’t think it will amount to anything”, he said. ” Some Democrats will have concerns about the president’s performance. However, only if Joe Biden chooses not to be the Democratic nominee will change that fact.

Because “he lied from beginning to end,” Bannon gave Biden a” C” and Trump an” F.”
” It was a very bad debate and I do n’t think either candidate performed well”, he said. ” Trump will win this race if it is going to be a race to the bottom because voters do n’t expect anything from him,” a Democrat said. I think it was a bad night for American democracy”.
