The Texas Supreme Court upheld a state laws that essentially forbids female experiment in children on Friday.
In an 8- 1 choice published on Friday, the highest court in the position confirmed the court’s May 2023 laws prohibiting health care professionals from systems and mutilating minors does not violate the state constitution, as a trial court had earlier concluded.
In reality, Justice Rebeca Aizpuru Huddle, joined by Chief Justice Nathan Hecht, Justice Jeff Boyd, Justice John Phillip Devine, Justice Jimmy Blacklock, Justice Brett Busby, Justice Jane Bland, and Justice Evan Young, affirmed in her lot mind that the condition has a vested interest in protecting children.
” Indeed, we have never held that a fit family’s involvement in caring for her baby free from government intervention, though heavy, triggers heightened attention of every legislation that restricts any asserted proper connected to that attention”, Huddle wrote.
Huddle confirmed that the jury believes children, including those struggling with their intercourse, “deserve the most appropriate treatment along with aid, love, and empathy”. Nevertheless, she made a point of not identifying” the most appropriate treatment for a child with gender dysphoria.”
Justice Devine and Justice Blacklock both had much more harsh words to say about the kids and doctors who, in his own mind, prescribed irreversible harm to children as a solution.
” We are men and women, irreducibly and indisputably, no matter how we feel. The Traditional Vision normally holds that medical or surgical intervention with a child’s developing capacity for standard, good sexual reproduction is plainly dangerous to the child, an obvious injustice undeserving of the great label “medicine,” according to Blacklock, coming from these moral and philosophical premises.
The justice claimed the case, which was joined by several self- proclaimed LGBT activist physicians, “is moral and political, not scientific and medical”.
In what were once trusted sources of authority, such as medical journals and newspapers, we have grown used to seeing such morally loaded language, according to Blacklock. Although intelligible as theoretical concepts, neologisms like” sex assigned at birth” and “gender identity” are incomprehensible from outside the Transgender Vision because they simply do not correspond with reality. Our inability to comprehend them and even to believe in them negates their existence.
The court’s decision and vile opposition come just 10 days after the Department of Justice’s investigation into a doctor who allegedly lied about Texas Children’s Hospital’s continued provision of body-butchering services to children after it ceased to do so. Later, Attorney General Ken Paxton made an announcement that an investigation was being conducted into the Houston-based medical facility.
Paxton celebrated the court’s judgment and swore that no one would harm Texas ‘ children with “puberty blockers, cross- sex hormones, and mutilative surgeries” on his watch.
” We will always protect Texas children from these irreversible practices. In a statement posted to X, he said,” My office will use every tool at our disposal to make sure doctors and medical institutions follow the law.”
