A thug who purported to be an NYPD officer pepper-sprayed a visitor who had entered a Manhattan train station without paying the fare, according to police on Thursday.
The bizarre event sparked off 6: 35 p. m. Sunday at the , Whitehall St. South Ferry , place on the downtown R train system.
The vigilant slipped a ring with what appeared to be an NYPD detective symbol around his chest after seeing the relatives enter the train through an open leave gate without paying the fare.
When he confronted one of the community members, a 46- yr- older person, the person blew him off.
