Despite numerous elections predicting a resounding defeat by the opposition Labour Party, UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak insisted the Liberals could still get the UK vote on Thursday. He once again defended the Tories ‘ 14-year rule in a BBC interview, and he claimed the nation is doing better than it did when his party took office in 2010.
When asked if he would remain as prime minister after the election, Sunak responded,” Yes, I’m fighting pretty hard, and I think people are realizing the danger of what a Labour government means.” Surveys reveal that Labour is on the verge of a landslide victory and Keir Starmer is on course to be prime minister, while Tories ‘ support continued to decline to new highs.
