Miscreants have blown up a 24- foot Sui oil pipelines in Mach area, Kachhi District, Balochistan, Pakistan, disrupting gasoline supply to various areas, including Quetta, as reported. According to Sui Southern Gas Company options, the blast caused the gas supply to completely stop.
According to ARY News, the Sui Southern Gas Company announced that work to repair the damaged network will begin on Monday night. After another fuel pipelines passing through the Bolan River was also attacked, according to officials, fuel source was now suspended to Jet town and its surrounding area earlier in February.
According to the officials, a large part of the six-inch pipeline caught fire as a result of a strong explosion.
Sui Southern Gas Company ( SSGC ) engineers cut off the supply and sent a repair and maintenance team and the necessary equipment to the affected site. Safdar Hussain, a SSGC official, stated that they had immediately begun the restoration work.
He added,” The staff on the ground concentrated its efforts on repairing the line at the earliest to ensure supply was resumed by the next evening.”
