We learned on Saturday that Joe Biden planned to meet with his home on Sunday to talk about the future of his re-election campaign during a previously scheduled community meeting at Camp David. The Biden campaign has been a little defiant, insisting that the octogenarian is n’t going anywhere while many in the Democratic Party appear ready to pull the plug on him.

But, according to columnist and author Bill O’Reilly, a decision has been made, and Biden is going to leave his plan.
Therefore, it’s over for Joe. But the White House does n’t yet know how or when to make the announcement. Keep near. ( 2/2 )# NoSpin— Bill O’Reilly ( @BillOReilly ) June 30, 2024
Is this statement honest? Also, to be honest, I have my questions. For one thing, there’s no evidence that O’Reilly is basing this on any outside resource. This appears to be a very strong projection being misinterpreted as in information.
Other stores had been reporting this as well, and so far, I’ve been unable to find any information from different sources indicating that such a decision has been made.
Does that imply O’Reilly is bad? No.  ,
For one thing, big donors do appear to be closing their pocketbooks… for now.
” To several major sponsors of President Joe Biden’s election campaign, one thing is obvious after Thursday’s conversation crisis: things need to change – and quickly”, reports USA Today. Democratic contributors were passionately texting one another about facing a completely slide ahead of the August convention in Chicago less than 24 hours after the two men left the conversation stage. Bunkers, the people who give and brush in huge sums, were open to the question of whether they should consider shifting their focus. Another donors are debating whether to put pressure on Biden to resign immediately in the lobby.

The Biden plan, nevertheless, claims that it raised$ 14 million on the day of the conversation and the day after, and had some donations planned over the weekend, including a celebrity- studded charity with Sarah Jessica Parker, Matthew Broderick, and Michael J. Fox in East Hampton, NY.
Given that Biden’s campaign depends greatly on main donors and no grassroots donors, the issue of major donors being hesitant to fund his campaign is a significant development.
But, nevertheless, O’Reilly appears to be been making a projection, not reacting to something he’s hearing from strategy sources. If resources were saying Biden has, in reality, decided to drop out of the race, then you’d hope they’d get telling some stores.  ,
And no one else appears to be revealing that a decision has been made.

Meanwhile, Biden’s home is urging him to stay in the race and fight despite next year’s devastating conversation performance, despite some members of his dynasty privately expressing exasperation at how his staff handled the event, according to people with knowledge of the situation who said on Sunday.
At Camp David, Mr. Biden spent time huddled up with his wife, kids, and grandchildren as he attempted to tamp down Democratic anxiety. His relatives are acutely aware of his performance in the past, but they also argued that he could still demonstrate to the nation that he is capable of serving for another four years.
Nothing has yet been decided, and Mr. Biden has been enticing his staff to hold a press conference or attend interviews to defend himself and change the narrative. He has also been enticing advisers to offer ideas about how to proceed. Over the weekend, political supporters and supporters of major elected officials were torching phone lines to stop them from abandoning him.
One of the strongest voices imploring Mr. Biden to resist pressure to drop out was his son Hunter Biden, whom the president has long leaned on for advice, said one of the people informed about the discussions, who, like others, spoke on condition of anonymity to share internal deliberations. Instead of the stumbling, aging president we saw on Thursday night, Hunter Biden wants Americans to see the version of his father who he knows and is scrappy and in command of the facts.

So, at the moment, it still looks like Biden has every intention of staying in the race.
