The Biden administration made the announcement earlier this year that the party would use Federal Work-Study ( FWS ) funds to conduct the voter mobilization and registration drive on college campuses, a prime and trustworthy source of Democratic votes. Traditional uses of the FWS money have been to pay students to work part-time on campus jobs, helping to cover the cost of tuition. Biden’s Department of Education, under the cover of the executive order, now justifies the use of taxpayer dollars to do the work of political parties.
Congress, Steil says, did not allocate any federal funds for the GOTV effort.  ,
What statute does the administration consider to be enforcing to accomplish this? They’re using taxpayer dollars for a partisan effort”, the congressman said. ” These are agencies like the Department of Transportation.
