The Biden Campaign Is in Chaos

In response to calls from all over for Joe Biden to step apart, the Biden plan is officially putting on a sturdy, stubborn face. Behind the scenes, things look grimy, and while some of the initial anxiety has subsided and it appears that Democrats are realizing that ditching Biden may be too dangerous, things are still uncertain. I would suggest that the plan is thrown together.

According to a statement from the Associated Press,” Improvement is growing among the party’s best divisions that Joe Biden’s plan and the Democratic National Committee are not really enough impacted by the government’s disturbing conversation efficiency earlier in the week.”

On Saturday evening, &nbsp, DNC Chairman Jaime Harrison and Biden campaign director Julie Chavez Rodriguez&nbsp, held a conference call with lots of DNC people nationwide, and it did not go well. In reality, it probably made things worse.

” Several committee members on the phone, most granted privacy to talk about the personal conversation, described feeling like they were being gaslighted — that they were being asked to ignore the dire character of the group’s predicament”, the AP reported. ” The call, they said, may have worsened a widespread sense of panic among elected officials, donors and other stakeholders”.

No questions were asked during the call, according to the callers, who said Harrison offered” a rosy assessment of Biden’s path forward.”

” I was hoping for more of a substantive conversation instead of,’ Hey, let’s go out there and just be cheerleaders,’ without actually addressing a very serious issue that unfolded on American television for millions of people to see”, said Joe Salazar, an elected DNC member from Colorado, who was on the call. There were a number of things that could have been said to address the situation, the author said. But we did n’t get that. We were being gaslit”. &nbsp,

A separate call with 40 top Biden donors did n’t go any better. The call was “tense,” and some donors requested refunds, which is a very troubling issue for a campaign that largely relied on large donors, according to NBC News.

Campaign manager Julie Chavez Rodriguez made the point during the call when she explained what could and could not be done with the campaign’s infrastructure if Biden resigned, while stating throughout the call that he had no intention of doing so.

If Biden were, in fact, to step aside, most of the campaign’s campaign cash would go to Kamala Harris, and” a smaller pool of money would be kept by the Democratic National Committee”.

Sen. Chris Coons, D-Del., who participated for a portion of the call, pointed out that the process would be “messy” and predicted that Harris would ultimately end up being the nominee. Sen. Chris Coons, D-Del., who stepped in for some of the call, pointed out that the process would be “messy.”

After Biden’s halting debate performance spooky the party elite, top Biden advisers and campaign leaders have been having a number of similar conversations with Democratic officials and donors.

One person on the call said that while many were still with Biden,” a lot of the participants are frightened” .&nbsp,

” Some of the callers made some wry remarks. Some people complained,” Some were upset that they were only hearing campaign talking points.”

Make no mistake about it: This campaign is struggling to keep things together. Running a successful campaign is challenging in the best of circumstances, but no campaign can afford to deal with this kind of issue.

The campaign is in chaos, and may very well be imploding.
