Bushra Bibi, the wife of former Pakistani prime minister, was granted momentary parole on Tuesday, according to a special responsibilities judge in Rawalpindi. In the bone event where Bibi and Khan were implicated, it was claimed that they allegedly accepted financial aid from a land developer in exchange for Al Qadir University. Both people have refuted any wrongdoing.
The Pakistan Tehreek e-Insaf ( PTI ) founder, his wife Bushra Bibi, and others were the subject of an investigation launched by the national accountability bureau in December related to the alleged acquisition of numerous acres of land under the guise of Al Qadir University Trust.
Imran Khan was released on bail earlier on May 15 from a land corruption investigation by the Islamic High Court ( IHC).
190 million kg were allegedly lost as a result of this, according to reports, to the federal government.
The Al-Qadir Trust case centers on the settlement of 190 million pounds ( approximately Rs 50 billion ) that the UK’s National Crime Agency transferred to Pakistan after recovering from a Pakistani real estate magnate. Khan, who was also the prime minister, chose to allow the merchant to use the funds to pay a sum of about Rs 450 billion that had formerly been levied by the Supreme Court, rather than depositing it into the national government.
