
As the Russian-Ukraine conflict gets worse, Democratic lawmakers in the House of Representatives are demanding that the U.S. government train more Ukrainian pilots.
According to , Politico, House Democrats led by Rep. Adam Schiff ( D- Calif. ) sent a letter to Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, demanding that Ukraine’s ask to have 10 more F- 16 pilots trained been granted.
House Democrats wrote in a text to Politico that” the request comes at a crucial moment in Ukraine’s continuing conflict with Russia, where the implementation of F-16 aeroplane has the potential to significantly affect the outcome of the war.”
The Democrat lawmakers added that the situation “promimises to destroy the tactical advantages these aircraft could give Ukraine” by stating that” by the end of the year, Ukraine will have more F- 16 aircraft than they will include qualified pilots to travel them.

The House Democrats ‘ demand, according to The Post Millennial, comes after the Biden administration approved of Ukraine receiving its permission to launch missile attacks across the Russian frontier. The use of F-16s did represent yet another significant step in the Russian-Ukraine conflict’s increase. Politico reported that Biden approved the move of F- 16 plane from Belgium, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Norway next year.
According to Politico, Russian officials have reported that 30 planes from the country are ready to begin training to sail F-16s in the United States as soon as possible. The Biden administration has nevertheless informed Ukraine that there is now no room for more than 12 Russian pilots in the F-16 coaching program in Arizona.
Democrats urged the Pentagon to send more Ukrainian pilots for training, noting that” this initiative strengthens Ukraine’s ability to use the F-16s effectively and also reinforces the broader government’s commitment to supporting Ukraine in its struggle for independence and territorial integrity.”
