Following next week’s primary presidential debate in Atlanta, Georgia, a new poll of voters found that past president Donald Trump has surpassed president Joe Biden in popularity. The poll, which was conducted after Biden’s fatal conversation efficiency, shows the former president leading Trump 48 % to 42 % in a mind- to- head contest.
In a contest with independent candidates like Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., 42 % of voters said they would vote for Trump, compared to 36 % of voters who said so in a new Wall Street Journal poll, which included 1,500 registered voters.
41 % of voters said they would undoubtedly vote for Trump, while 6 % said they would likely vote for the former president when asked to choose between only Trump and Biden. On the other hand, only 36 % of voters said they would vote for Biden without a doubt, and only 6 % said they would likely vote for him. According to the poll, Trump surpassed Biden in terms of national leadership, increasing by 4 % from a previous Wall Street Journal poll in February.
Additionally, according to the new surveys, 80 % of electors believed Biden to be too old to run for president again. In contrast to a prior Wall Street Journal poll, Biden’s voter turnout increased by roughly 7 %.

Asked to pick a word or phrase to describe Biden’s effectiveness at next week’s conversation, over half of those surveyed described it with phrases such as “abysmal”, “horrible”, “disaster”, “pathetic”, “incoherent”, “weak”, and “scary”. On the other hand, less than 10 % of voters gave favorable comments about Biden’s efficiency.
The Wall Street Journal’s poll was conducted from June 29 to July 2. According to the ballot, the survey’s margin of error was plus or minus 2.5 %.
