In a new ABC interview with George Stephanopoulos, President Joe Biden rebuffed fears about his age and health for a second term in office. The 81-year-old president insisted that he would go through normal cognitive tests because of the demanding work he would perform.
” Look, I have a cognitive test every single day. Every morning, I have that check. Everyone I do. You know, not only am I campaigning, but I’m running the globe”, Biden said.
Biden argued in the interview that he is not more frail than he was during the previous two terms of his administration, citing continued evaluations from his private physicians, who would not hesitate to contact him with any problems. He acknowledged his limitations, saying,” You I run the 100 in 10 level? No. But I’m still in good shape”. In terms of his debate performance, Biden acknowledged that he did n’t follow his instincts and that Trump’s interruptions would distract him.
