His advisers informed the press that he had a cold before the conversation between Donald Trump and Joe Biden was around. No one really accepted that justification. If he really did have a warm, why did n’t they explain it before? And, a cold would n’t have explained his overall abominable performance. It’s crazy to think that justification was coming true. A cold did n’t describe his freezing on stage, or his ability to be clear or complete phrases.

His performance was so poor that big publications, including the New York Times, requested that he withdraw.
The New York Times editorial board stated that” Mr. Biden’s greatest community service accomplishment right now is to declare that he will not continue to run for re-election.”
Remember that Mr. Biden and Mr. Trump engaged in this rhetorical fight. He established the rules, and he pushed for a day that came months before any other general election debates. He was aware of the need to tackle long-standing common fears about his mental clarity and that he needed to do so as soon as possible.
Mr. Biden must then realize that he failed his personal check.
Of course, he has n’t done so, and instead has doubled down, claiming he’s not going anywhere, and making even more excuses for his performance, like when he told donors the problem was caused by jet lag.
A few days after the discussion, Biden said,” I decided to travel around the world a few times. ” It was n’t very smart]to be ] traveling around the world a couple times”.
” I did n’t listen to my staff”, Biden added. And therefore I nearly somnolenced on level.
Biden had been resting at his seaside home for a few days before heading to Camp David for a week to prepare for the debate, so he had to go abroad before the debate, which occurred nearly two weeks after his most recent foreign trip.

That was terrible, but during his interview with ABC News ‘ George Stephanopoulos, he had yet another reason to provide.
” I really had a bad day. I do n’t know why”, Biden said.
” And how fast did it dawn on you that you were having a bad day”? Stephanopoulos asked.
” Well, it came to me, I was having a bad day when I realized that even when I was answering a question, even though they turned his device off, he was also shouting”, Biden claimed. And I ignored it. I — I’m not blaming it on that, but I realized that I just was n’t in control”.
There’s only one issue with Biden’s newest reason: it’s a lie. Trump may have been heard speaking when his mic was turned off a few times, but for the most part he just stood there and sat there as Biden spoke. He never again screamed or was wehed.  ,
It just did n’t happen.
The same people who watched the debate and criticized Biden’s performance do n’t think Trump was shouting over him when they know he was n’t. Blaming jet lag when his last international trip was two weeks prior was pathetic, and it was a major stretch. While Biden spoke on the broken camera, Trump was disciplined and understood that the best thing to do was to allow Biden to dig his own tomb.
