Leftists Get What They Paid For In Wisconsin Supreme Court Flip-Flop Allowing Ballot Drop Boxes

They assert that you pay for what you pay for. Due to a pile of communist wealth that altered the beauty of the government’s Supreme Court, the state’s swing state Wisconsin is experiencing the degradation of election integrity laws.

The left-leaning Wisconsin Supreme Court upheld a prior court ruling and supported the popular use of absentee ballot drop boxes in November’s election, just as President Joe Biden was scheduled to visit the capital city and leftist area Madison. The Badger State’s poll shenanigans are the same ones that were a problem in the Badger State in 2020, thanks to the decision. &nbsp,

” Our determination from currently does not need or require that any municipal clerks use fall containers.” It only acknowledges what ]state statute ] has often meant: that clerks does lawfully use secure drop boxes in an exercise of their statutorily- given discretion”, the 4- 3 ruling states. &nbsp,

The Wisconsin Supreme Court decided that common use of unprotected absentee drop boxes was against state law in 2022, not the way it did before. Because the rules enacted do not permit the common use of absentee drop boxes, the judge made the decision. &nbsp,

The Wisconsin Institute for Law &amp, Liberty, the Milwaukee-based public curiosity law company that filed the original petition opposing the development of the cut boxes, said Rick Esenberg, president and general guidance of the government’s requirement that a ballot get returned in person to the provincial clerk does not mean leaving it somewhere for the clerk to pick up. &nbsp,

We should want the law to be followed as it is written, regardless of whether you prefer the use of drop boxes. Reconsidering a case decided just two years ago will turn out to be a grave and historic error, Esenberg continued. &nbsp,

What amazing coincidence does it occur that President Biden is visiting Madison on the same day that the majority of Wisconsin’s radical left-wingers make their decision to allow unmanned ballot boxes, which are not permitted in state statute.

    — Senator Julian Bradley ( @SenBradley ) July 5, 2024

Forsakes the Constitution of the United States.

The Wisconsin Supreme Court’s 2024 edition reversed a lower court’s decision in Teigen v. Wisconsin Elections Commission, a decision that the state high court had earlier affirmed two years prior. In that decision, the WEC’s recommendation encouraging the use of absentee ballot drop boxes was declared to be unlawful.

The legislature may only permit absentee ballot-drop box voting, according to &nbsp. WEC cannot. The detailed statutory system for absentee voting does not include ballot drop boxes. WEC’s authorization of ballot drop boxes was unlawful”, wrote Justice Rebecca Grassl Bradley, one of four conservatives on the seven- member Supreme Court in the 2022 ruling. &nbsp,

The decision, which pointed to state law, made it clear that an absentee ballot must be returned by mail or that the voter must personally deliver it to the municipal clerk at the clerk’s office or a designated alternate location. The Wisconsin Elections Commission’s “record evidence” does not support its claim that ballot drop boxes have been used in this state for a long time.

Justice Bradley wrote that the majority “forsakes the rule of law in an attempt to advance its political agenda” in her no-word dissent to the ruling last week.

    Money Changes Everything

Much has changed since 2022, most critically the majority. Milwaukee County Judge Janet Protasiewicz was elected to the Wisconsin Supreme Court in April 2023, giving liberals for the first time in 15 years the supreme court of last resort. They’re using their newfound power for maximum advantage. &nbsp,

The race was far and away the most expensive in U. S. judicial history, surpassing$ 45 million. Protasiewicz’s campaign raked in at least$ 14 million, according to an OpenSecrets analysis of campaign finance documents. The Wisconsin Democratic Party contributed$ 8.9 million to the total, with many of the donations coming from outside-of-state donors. &nbsp,

” Some of the top industries contributing to her campaign were lawyers and lobbyists, securities and investment, and education”, OpenSecrets reported. &nbsp,

By comparison, Protasiewicz’s conservative opponent, former Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Dan Kelly, raised$ 2.6 million, with “roughly&nbsp,$ 779, 000&nbsp, of that coming from the Wisconsin Republican Party”.

Protasiewicz’s election efforts also received a huge boost from big- spending leftist groups, including$ 6.2 million from the outside political action committee A Better Wisconsin Together Political Fund, according to OpenSecrets. &nbsp,

‘ Will Not Go Unanswered ‘&nbsp,

After the Wisconsin Elections Commission gave its blessing, the use of absentee ballot drop boxes exploded in 2020. In advance of the tumultuous 2020 presidential election, Wisconsin clerks ‘ offices received$ 10 million plus in election administration grants to use for their use. The money was a part of hundreds of millions of dollars in donations that Mark Zuckerberg, a conservative speech critic, and his wife designated for local election administration changes in the country — all of which were covered by Covid. The brunt of the money went to swing states like Wisconsin and to Democrat strongholds such as Milwaukee, Madison, Green Bay, Kenosha, and Racine. &nbsp,

Unmanned absentee ballot boxes have sparked a number of issues related to election integrity, including a well-known scandal in a Connecticut election. &nbsp,

The Republican National Convention in Milwaukee is scheduled to take place a little over a week before the Wisconsin Supreme Court’s most recent ruling, which is expected to make the ruling official.

Brian Schimming, the head of the Wisconsin Republican Party, called the decision a” setback for both the separation of powers and the public trust in our elections.”

The left-wing justices on the Wisconsin Supreme Court have complied with their out-of-state donors ‘ demands at the expense of Wisconsin, he said in a statement. This most recent ploy by leftist justices to placate their far-left supporters wo n’t go unanswered by voters, according to the statement.
