
The Oak Ridge fire, then burning on 1, 240 acres of U. S. Forest Service territory in Pueblo County, was 59 % contained Sunday, according to fire officials.
On Saturday night, the fire, sparked by lightning on June 22, was 1, 193 hectares and 50 % contained,  , double the 25 % isolation reached on Thursday. With flow lights and flying fire, paramedics on Saturday worked to have the southeast corner of the fireplace and safeguard house in Beulah and the Middle Creek watershed. By Sunday morning, the fire was burning on 1, 240 acre and the isolation column was 59 %,  , fire officials said in a Sunday release.
Fuels that are heated and clean outside the fire perimeter may fire and smoke. According to blaze leaders, those who are sensitive to dust on Sunday are advised to stay in.
Middle Creek Canyon Road, Vine Mesa, Cascade Avenue, Pine Avenue, and Beulah Highlands Road still have evacuation finds in consequence.
The U.S. Forest Service says the San Carlos Ranger District of the Pike and San Isabel National Forests will be closed down until July 26. Additionally, there is a temporary flight limitations over the fire place.
The fire is the , first to eliminate in the area in more than 100 years, jungle authorities said, and may not be contained until late July.
