Previous U.S. ambassador to South Carolina and governor Nikki Haley is urging her representatives to back former president Donald Trump in his bid to recapture the White House. Before the Republican National Convention gathers next year, Trump’s former competitor for the GOP nomination for 2024 presidential election announced on July 9 that she would take her 97 members over to him, according to Politico.

” The nominating convention is a time for Republican unity”, said the former governor, adding that” we need a president who will hold our enemies to account, secure our border, cut our debt, and get our economy back on track” . ,
As” Joe Biden is not qualified to serve a second word and Kamala Harris would be a hazard for America,” Haley, who was not invited to the agreement, urged her “delegates to help Donald Trump second year in Milwaukee.”
Politico was informed by a spokesman that the former governor was “fine with that” despite no inviting her.
Trump “deserves” the desired agreement. She’s made it clear she’s election for him and wishes him the best”, he continued.
The Republican National Convention will take place July 15-18 in Milwaukee.
Following Trump’s campaign trail walk to the 2024 GOP election in November 2022, Haley launched her political campaign in February 2023. The former governor of South Carolina ran a fierce rivalry with the well-known past president until she decided against running for president after Trump won 14 of the 15 claims on Super Tuesday.
In the remaining Democratic presidential primary, Haley continued to garner about 20 % of the ballot from primarily Never-Trumper voters even after she left the race. But, in May, Haley announced that she would vote for Trump in her first public comments since the conclusion of her 2024 plan.

” Trump has not been best on these procedures. I have made that clear some, several days. But Biden has been a calamity. So I will be voting for Trump”, she said.
The former government claimed that the nation needed a “president who do assist socialism and freedom.” A leader who comprehends that we need less bill, no more, should be elected. She added that while her past competitor for the election “had not been best on these plans,” he was more favorable to President Joe Biden. She also urged Trump to “reach out to the millions of people who voted for me and continue to support me without thinking that they will really stick with him.”
Trump made the announcement that she would join his “team in some type” following Haley’s support in May, but he continued to rule her out as his probable vice-presidential running mate.
Trump stated,” I appreciated what she said. You know, we had a dirty battle, it was quite unpleasant. But she’s a quite capable man, and I’m sure she’s going to get on our group in some form, positively”.
However, in a June 29 interview with The Wall Street Journal, Haley admitted that there was no talk of her having a role in the Trump campaign after what she described as a” good conversation” with the former president.

Haley described Biden’s poor mental performance during the current political argument, as” surprising, I think, for a lot of citizens”.
” What we saw was that Trump was strong, but I do n’t even think that mattered because Biden was so amazingly unfit”, she said. ” The way he lost his train of thought, the way he could n’t grasp topics of what he needed to talk about”.
