After the physical abuse event “groping people” took place in Moncton, an American gentleman was detained in Canada’s province of New Brunswick.
The 25-year-old Indian-origin gentleman was groping people on July 7 at the time, according to the Royal Canadian mounted authorities.
” On July 7, 2024, at around 2 o’clock, the Codiac Regional RCMP responded to a record of sexual assault and interference at a Moncton public water garden.”
The gentleman had been groping people in the water garden, according to the authorities. At least twelve persons testified that he groped them, some of whom were under the age of sixteen.
” When authorities arrived at the scene, they learned that a gentleman, originally from India but residing in Halifax, had been walking around the grounds, and was groping persons. There were at least twelve patients, some of whom were under the age of 16″, RCMP said in a speech.
Authorities claimed they found the man who was still there and made an arrest without event for him. He was eventually released from custody, and he will show up in Moncton Provincial Court on October 24.
” This is still an active investigation, and we are working diligently to know if there were other patients”, says Sgt. Sylvette Hebert with the local RCMP in Codiac. Parents, if they attended this spot on July 7, we are asking them to speak with their kids. Additionally, we want people to be aware that a sexual assault problem may be filed at any time. If you are a victim of sexual misconduct, please call us. You will be listened to, and you will be believed”.
