Weston Coppola Cage, the brother of Nicolas Cage, who won an Academy Award, was reportedly detained in Los Angeles for assault with a lethal weapon.
The 33-year-old was taken into custody Wednesday and released on$ 150, 000 relationship, according to People. According to reports, the incarceration was the result of a situation that took place several months ago.
Cage’s imprisonment is believed to be linked to a battery report taken by police in May involving the suspect’s daughter, Christina Fulton, who told the star release her son suffered a “mental-health break” that turned into a “horrific encounter”.
People , could n’t confirm the arrest was connected to that experience.
That altercation apparently turned violent, but no arrests were made at the time. Reporter posted photos of , Fulton’s seriously damaged face , shortly after the incident occurred. She gave the impression of having a dark eye and a few scars.
Fulton, 57, is a past model who’s appeared in films including 1998’s” Snake Eyes” starring Nicolas Cage. Their brother,  , a musician , who’s landed a few acting roles, worked with his famous father on the 2005 picture” Lord of War”.
Nicolas Cage discussed having two older children and a 2-year-old daughter with different mothers in a conversation with the New Yorker.

The , Los Angeles Police Department , has n’t responded to a Daily News request for comment. According to TMZ, the assume turned himself in on Wednesday at 7 a.m. while accompanied by a solicitor.
